This project was an opportunity for us to put the tools we have learned to use. We were to take one of our portraits, and change it creatively using the following: selection tools, layers, adjustment layers, layer styles, blending options, paint brushes and opacity.
I really liked how the background gave me a great opportunity to be creative. The background turned out nice with all the red and the black sky. I used many different colors of red and manipulated them by using paint brushes and opacity a great deal of times. I liked using the layers the most because they changed some of the red to make it look like blood. I feel confident in some areas of Photoshop, but I’m not completely confident in my overall knowledge of this program.
